#1. What are Select Gift Certificates?

Select offers Dining Gift Certificates for all occasions and especially for that hard-to-buy-for person. Our products are available in many cities throughout the U.S. What sets us apart from other gift programs is that we provide distinctive full color brochures including menus, pictures of the restaurant, prices and useful maps from all of our restaurants in each gift certificate package so the recipient can make their dining choices based on quality information. The recipient also has a useful keepsake filled with menus of other fine restaurants in town.

#2. Why should I order a gift certificate from Select Gift Certificates rather than the restaurant directly?

For a number of reasons:

1. We save you a trip to the restaurant to purchase a gift certificate. Also many times the person authorized to issue a gift certificate is not there requiring another trip. We do not use generic plastic cards. Our certificates can be customized with personal messages and it’s packaged in a variety of attractive gift wrappings to fit any occasion making each gift certificate a unique gift to give and to receive. Unlike gift cards, your recipient also receives menus to many other great dining establishments in town so their dining experiences extend well into the future. The gift recipient gets to choose which high quality restaurants they would like to visit rather than a restaurant the giver selected.

#3. How do I order?

Simply proceed to our "Order Gift Certificate" section and follow the easy ordering steps. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards.

#4. How is the gift certificate redeemed?

The recipient simply presents the Select Gift Certificate to their server at the restaurant. The restaurant will credit the face value of the certificate against their bill. If the credit is greater than the bill there is no cash or credit returned; if the credit is less than the bill the recipient owes the difference.

#5. What fees are associated with your service?

There is a $4.95 charge for each certificate created. This is for personalization on the gift certificate, a menu packet filled with colorful menus to choose from, gift wrapping for every occasion and shipping via first class mail per each order (Express shipping is available for $17.95). Reduced fees available for bulk orders.

#7. Our company wishes to purchase a large quantity of gift certificates for our employees; is this possible?

Yes. Large corporate orders are our specialty. Contact our customer service department directly for assistance with your order at 1-866-212-9311 9AM - 4PM (EST) Mon- Friday.

#8. Can I have Gift Certificates sent to me so I can present them in person?

Yes. The order system will ask you about this option. Simply follow the directions for shipping to yourself instead of the recipient.

#9. What if we do not use the entire gift certificate amount during our visit to a restaurant?

There are no cash or credit refunds for amounts not used. We encourage you to maximize the value of your gift certificate by purchasing extras like appetizers or desserts. Be adventurous and have fun. You can also apply unused amounts on the gift certificate as a tip to your server.

#10. Can I use other restaurant discount coupons in addition to a Select Gift Certificate?

No. Other discounts and promotions cannot be used in conjunction with a Select Gift Certificate.

#11. How long will it take for my recipient to receive the gift certificate?

We process your order the next business day and mail the gift certificate via first class postage. Express shipping is also available for an additional fee.

#12. Can I personalize my gift certificate?

Yes, we have designed the gift certificate to show the giver’s name and space to provide a personalized message to each recipient. The messages can be over 100 characters long so givers have plenty of space to write notes. There is also a convenient library of over 100 scripted messages to choose from if you have writer’s block! You can add symbols from an icon library or add a picture of your own to the certificate. Corporate givers can include their company’s logo on the gift certificates.

#13. Is it safe to use my credit card for Internet purchasing of goods and services?

Your credit card security is our highest priority and we are committed to ensuring the security of your information. Select Gift Certificates utilizes a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, an advanced encryption technology that protects the information you send us against unauthorized access. We continually research and apply the latest breakthroughs in Internet security processing. We never distribute, sell, or use your personal information to an third-party organization - EVER!
